Organic food and other products are no longer the preserve of “hippies”.
Quick Links
The truth is we’ve all become a little more aware of what we’re eating and where it comes from.
Like understanding that many store-bought foods are full of preservatives and other additives.
That’s why the organic food business alone was worth US$47 billion in 2018, and is growing at around 10% per year.
So we decided to take a deep dive into this “industry” and root out the most profitable organic affiliate programs we could find.
And we found a lot more than we expected.
Because it’s not hippies running these companies, but lots of young, tech savvy entrepreneurs.
You’ll see what we mean by the time you finish reading this post.
Walgreens
Charles Walgreen opened the first Walgreens store in 1901 with nothing more than $6,000 and a vision.
A little over a century later there are now 9,560 Walgreens stores dotted around the United States.
That’s a lot of growth.
But what has this got to do with organic products, I hear you ask?
Because Walgreens stocks over 800 different organic items at any one time.
These range from organic food and personal hygiene products to organic tea.
You could do far worse than promoting Walgreens to any audience that enjoys healthy living.
Promoting affiliate programs like Walgreens is a bit of a mixed bag.
The reason for this is that they’re an established brick’n’mortar brand, so you’re potentially competing against local stores.
But the flipside of this is that people now expect the convenience of shopping from home.
And based on their Commission Junction ‘Network Earnings’ score their affiliates are definitely making money.

My Green Mattress
Did you know that you can buy organic mattresses and pillows?
I didn’t.
But My Green Mattress sells those exact items.
What exactly makes their mattresses organic in nature?
Well it’s because they’re made using organic cotton, wool and latex.
So not only are they organic but they should also be hypoallergenic, making them ideal for anyone with allergies that keep them awake all night.
They also sell latex mattresses for baby cribs, so they cater for little ones with eczema or other skin conditions.
These mattresses cost $600 and up, which isn’t a whole lot more expensive than a regular mattress.
But you still get paid around $45 per sale, which is worth working for.
Plus My Green Mattress offer a 100-night trial, free shipping and a 20-year warranty on their products.
These facts offer you more leverage in your affiliate marketing efforts.

Organic Basics
Organic Basics is a Copenhagen-based supplier of organic clothing.
The stereotypical image of organic clothing is one of ugly and uncomfortable apparel made from 100% recycled cat hair.
Organic Basics turns that idea on its head with their range of active wear, underwear and just everyday-wear made from organic and recycled textiles.
Each step of the production process for their clothing is focused on being environmentally friendly.
Which means they only partner with companies who are able to prove they’re carbon balanced or carbon neutral.
So this makes their product range perfect for any audience focused on reducing their carbon footprint.
Remember, the “green” market is worth tens of billions of dollars per year.
Marketers promoting this affiliate program get paid a whopping 40% per sale, which is well above average.
The other thing is that Organic Basics claims an average order size of €100, so you should average €40 in commission per sale.
Oh and they’re also happy to ship free products for you to review – as long as you’re an active content creator.

Boxed
What if there was a company that combined the cost efficiency of shopping at big box stores with the convenience of home delivery?
Oh look, Boxed already do that.
So there’s no need to keep on wishing.
Seriously though, it’s a winning concept, allowing your visitors to stock up on the bulk essentials that they only need to shop for once every few weeks.
This program can actually save them money because they won’t get stung by those impulse purchases that turn a $5 pack of kitchen paper into a $50 shopping “accident.”
But it’s not all just baked beans and cleaning products – Boxed stocks a full range of organic products, including fresh and canned organic food.
You have lots of potential audiences to work with here, including preppers who don’t want to live on baked beans if the SHTF.
Side note: I do some prepping myself, so not making fun of anyone. And no, I don’t own a tinfoil hat.
You can earn between 1% and 6% commission when promoting this affiliate program, which probably seems confusing.
Here’s how it works – they pay 6% on any purchases made by a new Boxed customer.
But you also get 1% commission on additional purchases made by any existing Boxed customer.
This gives you the opportunity to start earning affiliate revenue on two separate tiers.

Texas SuperFood
Thinking about living a healthier life is always easier than actually getting up and doing something about it.
You have to figure out what fruits and vegetables to eat, and how much of each.
That’s a lot of work.
Or you could just spend a few bucks with Texas Superfood, and get everything you need in drinkable, capsule or powder form.
Each of their products is made from raw, certified organic ingredients which are also rich in antioxidants.
And they’re also free of gluten, soy and dairy, so your vegan visitors can also enjoy them.
All of their products are made in the US, so you know they’re manufactured to a high standard.
There are lots of health supplement companies getting their products manufactured overseas and shipped to the US, so you basically have no idea what’s in them.
The Texas Superfood affiliate program is new to ShareASale but already a strong performer, as you can see from its ‘Power Rank’.
Affiliates make 10% per sale, which equals a commission of roughly $12, based on their average order size.
So a strong EPC, decent commissions, and a conversion rate of 15% all add up to a program worth promoting.

Detox Organics
I once lived on junk food for two whole weeks.
By the time I’d settled into my 14th burger and fries I started to feel physically unwell.
Probably how Morgan Spurlock felt after eating the same way for a month.
I had to do a serious detox to stop feeling like I was going to die after walking down a flight of stairs.
So I’d have benefited from a Detox Organics shake right around then.
Their shake contains 25 organic superfoods and claims to help reduce inflammation and bloating in the body while also boosting energy and easing digestion.
Or the exact opposite of what happens to your body when you live on crap for weeks on end.
The next thing about this detox shake is you don’t need to have a health-focused audience to promote it to.
Because its real target audience is people who are sick and tired of feeling and looking like a hot mess.
Detox Organics affiliates make 15% for any sale made through their affiliate links.
A single bag of 30 servings costs $75.95, so you’ll make $11.24 in commission.
A strong EPC indicates that a lot of sales are being made, although this is not a product I’d build an entire site around.
That being said, it could be a very interesting sub-niche to work in.

Suzanne Somers
If you’re not sure who Suzanne Somers is, well she’s a writer, actress, singer, and founder of the Suzanne Somers e-commerce empire.
They sell a full range of organic skincare, makeup, and hair care products.
The entire Suzanne Somers range is made from 100% natural ingredients, with the associated price tag.
So your visitors don’t need to worry about absorbing harmful chemicals, or if any of their cosmetic products were tested on animals.
This affiliate is ideal if you have an audience who enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, but want to look as good on the outside as they feel on the inside.
Or at least, that’s how I’d pitch it to them.
The main reason I included Suzanne Somers in this roundup is the brand name – she’s not an A-list celebrity, but most people are vaguely familiar with her.
And that makes it easier to convert traffic when promoting these offers.
Affiliates make 8% of every sale referred through their affiliate link.
Plus this program allows for multiple occurrences (sales) to be credited to your account within their 45-day cookie timeframe.

Kimera Koffee
Kimera Koffee is a really interesting idea.
Firstly, I love their nod to Greek mythology because a chimera is a hybrid creature – typically a fire-breathing lion with a goat sticking out of its back.
But what’s more important is that they’ve done something quite clever – they combined artisan organic coffee with nootropics.
Nootropics is the technical name for smart drugs (they call them brain vitamins), like L-Theanine, for example.
L-Theanine allows you to get a mental jolt from a strong cup of coffee…but without getting the caffeine jitters.
And it’s just one of the many organic “smart drugs” combined in a cup of Kimera coffee.
Every tired parent, exhausted student, wired gamer or anxious athlete in the world will be interested in this beverage.
In fact, anyone who enjoys operating at peak mental and physical levels will want some.
The average commission payout for affiliates is only $5, but this is the type of product that sells itself.
And it has such broad appeal that you could promote it to pretty much anyone, from teachers to track athletes.
It’s also the only organic coffee of its kind on the market right now, making it one of the most interesting affiliate programs in this roundup.

Mary Ruth’s Organics
The Mary Ruth’s Organics range of health supplements is the brainchild of MaryRuth Ghiyam.
She had a very personal reason for creating her first multivitamin product – her mother was diagnosed with two benign brain tumours.
That idea became a vision which in turns lead to creating a whole range of health supplements to tackle everything from poor immunity, to gut health, low energy levels, and even sleep problems.
As of right now, your visitors can choose from a range of drops, gummies and liquid “tonics” from Mary Ruth’s.
All of these products are made from natural, non-GMO ingredients that are also suitable for use by vegans.
And yes, they also make probiotic products for cats and dogs.
So that’s an additional audience you can promote to.
These products cost between $10 and $40 each, so you’ll make an average commission of $2.50 per sale.
So with lower payouts you’ll need to focus on either a higher volume of transactions, or working on your visitors purchasing multiple products per order.
A smart way to achieve that goal might be to actually test some of these liquid multivitamins yourself.
And no, we’re not giving you medical advice.

CoalaTree
At face value Coalatree looks like just another adventure and outdoor clothing company.
But there’s far more substance to them than that.
Yes, they do manufacture outdoors apparel for men and women, and a nifty range of hammocks too.
The difference is that all Coalatree products are made using organic and recycled textiles.
So your visitors can buy outdoor clothing that looks and feels the part, but while knowing they’ve done their bit to reduce their impact on the environment.
It also proves just how much can be achieved by recycling existing textiles.
These products will appeal to everyone from actual fans of the great outdoors, to people who just like to look and feel the part.
This affiliate program pays 10% commission on all referrals, which averages out at $12 per sale.
But what’s important here is their EPC which is almost as high as some financial affiliate programs we’ve discussed previously.
So there’s money to be made here.

Conclusion
And that brings us to the end of our roundup of organic affiliate programs.
I was surprised by the variety of programs out there because my outsider perception of this market was one of “lotions and potions”.
That it would be all a bit “tree huggy”.
But the reality is very different.
These businesses are tech savvy, fully embrace social media, and know how to make money from their online efforts.
If you’d like to discover how you can make money promoting these affiliate programs then you’ll definitely want to swing by our 2-hour training session on affiliate marketing.
